Welcome

St Andrew's is a local ecumenical partnership in which members of the United Reformed Church and the Methodist Church share in worship, fellowship, service and mission.

St Andrews Church, Skipton

On Pentecost Sunday, 18th May 1975, Gargrave Road and Broughton Road Methodist Churches joined the Skipton United Reformed Church to form St Andrew's. The building in which we worship was the United Reformed Church.

The Church is governed by its Church Meeting on which all church members have a seat. Non-members are welcome to attend the Church Meeting but cannot vote. The Church Meeting normally comes together once every three months.

The church and its adjacent church hall are in Newmarket Street, Skipton - just off the High Street from the roundabout by Yorkshire Trading Company.

St Andrews Church Hall, Skipton

St Andrew's Church Hall is a centre of community and a base for mission. The church hall provides a base for many of our church activities and it is also an important centre of community in Skipton. Here are the Coffee Shop, Citizen's Advice Bureau, the Craven Development Education Centre, the Mental Health Project, The Dyslexia Institute, Parents and Toddlers Group, the Christian Schools Worker and the Methodist Circuit office; as well as halls and rooms that provide a home for many other Skipton activities for adults and children.
